Mai discriminates if you aren’t a regular. Every time my mom and I go in and they are busy it’s always an hour to an hour and a half wait which is understandable because they are busy. At least that’s what we thought. My mom went in there the other day and Mai only had one person and she said she couldn’t help my mom and she made a comment to her husband that my mom wasn’t hers (regular customer). My mom and I went when Tracy was working there. Tracy was always so welcoming and didn’t care if you were a regular or not she would always help. This place went downhill (customer service) when Tracy left. Disappointed.
This place doesn't even deserve one star! I went in today and the nail technician asked me what I wanted done and I asked if she could fill my nails because they were lifting and cracked, and she said she couldn't help me and for me to go back to the place I got them. I didn't ask her to do them for free and said I'd pay and the place I went to was in Santa Fe and I just needed them fixed. So I asked her agin if she could just redo them. She gave me a rude look and told me she didn't have time. Needless to say I won't be wasting my time or spending my money here.
spent $26 and an hour sitting in cold water just to get toenails polish. worst pedi ever.
Past experience was good. But I've seen the owner turn people away for no reason. Today there was 1 customer and 2 technicians. Told me they had time and told my husband to come back in 30 minutes. After my husband left they told me they didn't have time and I had to wait for him to return. While I was waiting they took 2 more customers. Service is the worst I have ever had!
Love the way they do my nails they are the best in Taos and always have time for us.
