This little cafe is very cute with delicious food. Every time I go to Taos I make sure to eat here at least once! It is reasonably priced with a variety of options and has a very friendly staff and owner.
Great breakfast choices. Homemade granola super good... and health. Blue corn pancakes w blueberries also fantastic. Busy but the staff hustled.
I came here with my two daughters and husband and we got exactly what we wanted. They had all sorts of options (vegetarian, gluten free, and even something for my youngest.) The waitstaff was incredibly nice and even gave suggestions on what we would like. The service was quick and the food was like a religious experience as quoted by my husband. I'm not going to lie the meal was expensive for my family of four, but between the service and the food it was incredibly worth it.
We walked past Michael's where 20+ people were waiting at straight up noon on Sunday, and found open tables just a couple doors down at Bear claw. Can't imagine why! We had sausage omelets of their brunch menu and they were fresh and excellent. The brunch menu has about a dozen items but heard they have a more standard breakfast menu as well. Also really good looking bakery cases, and will try them another day.
On a recent visit to Taos, I stopped for breakfast on two occasions. I enjoyed a green chili omelet on both visits. The food and service were excellent. The staff friendly. I took home eclairs and cream cheese filled croissants, both were very fresh and tasty. I will return on my next visit.
