Once in pre-op, I was sitting in a chair getting an IV when I began to pass out. Before falling forward, the doctor noticed and moved over at least 3 feet, to keep me from falling while the nurse beside me didn't even notice. Nurses always gave me good reviews of the doctor's skill before I went into surgery. Afterwards I had minimal discomfort and no pain.
