Though the house we rented was lovely, the service by Kokopelli Property Management Staff was disappointing. We were told we could not check in even 30 minutes early (which would have been at 3:30 pm) and then the person meeting us to check us in did not come until 40 minutes past the supposed check in time, which caused my husband to miss an appointment. They then charged me an extra $69 for a pet cleaning fee, which we were not informed of in advance and even though our pets did not make any messes at all that would warrant this. Not only were we not informed of this charge at the time of booking, but they charged my card for it without even telling me about 2 weeks after the rental. We stay in Taos often and prefer these types of rentals to hotels, but I will not rent through this company again.
