Very helpful and friendly guides who are very knowledgeable about the local sites, as well as being up-to-date on local events. Our guide let us know that Taos Pueblo had planned to be open, but was instead not opening until Saturday, after we were planning on leaving, so we were able to adjust our plans accordingly. In addition to art and jewelry from local artists including Native artists, regional coffee brews are available for purchase, with one free cup of whatever the day's feature is, offered per person.

You must stop at The Visitor Center when you getting to Taos. As information centers go, this was probably the best informed Information Center employee. She loaded us down with more wonderful things to do than we had time to do it. She was friendly and had lots of great Maps and information about the town and surrounding areas.
