One of the greatest places I have ever stayed! Older, but very well maintained. Staff is very friendly and courteous. The breakfast is very good and so is the prime rib in the restaurant!
This was a nice place to stay. Room was well kept and clean. Only gripe was a pump truck came at about 4:00 in the morning and woke up the whole room. Staff didn’t know anything about it.
Would definitely come back.
The reason the reviews are ‘hit or miss’ is because the Sagebrush has a HUGE selection of various rooms and facilities as well as a lot of staff members.
My wife and I were traveling across the country in October and decided to spend a couple of days in Taos. The staff here saw our needs (2 toddlers and a small dog) and adjusted our reservations accordingly. We stayed in the 560 block. The master room in the suite provided a beautiful view of the mountains and we absolutely enjoyed our time there because of the spacious living quarters, the amazing breakfast served every morning and the ease of visit transition in and out. *Some staff members are much more amiable than others. For best customer service, I went to the evening staff for best results*
So while on a weekend outing i stayed at the sagebrush. First room first trip, super old room And bed. Pretty small. Second visit huge room, fire place with 5 logs, Murphy bed for extra guests. Very nice! The bar tender was great, super friendly talk about customer service! The restaurant staff well it wasn't busy and my server didn't seem to care. She didn't refill or drinks, i gaff to ask another server for my bill. The host was staring at us and made us feel awkward. Not the greatest visit to a restaurant.
Nice authentic place to stay. Grounds are pretty and well maintained. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Complimentary full, hot breakfast was very delicious using china and silverware. Well worth the money.
