The fact that I have to even give a one star rating is frustrating. By far the worst hotel I have ever been in. Everything about the sun god lodge is awful! I would tell anyone to stay away don't even think about getting a room here. The rooms are disgusting. The people who rent the rooms are trash. We spent the entire night awake with our 4 year old because cas were flying in and out burning out in the lot. The 2 rooms below us we're fighting and slamming doors all night long and management said nothing to them. Finally one of the rooms decided to call the cops at 7:00am when the other lady wouldn't stop screaming her head off. There was no air conditioner and there wasn't one available in any room of course they wouldn't tell you that. I have never been so upset at a establishment in my life. They did nothing to help the situation out even free I let them know how upset I was. DO NOT GO THERE EVER! I hope this hotel gets shut down.

The rate was 90$, which isn't great, but isn't terrible for walking in in the late evening.

Too many rooms n not enough housekeepers, so stuff gets overlooked.

The Sun God Lodge promises 5 things:two on the sign up front (Great Rates & Clean Rooms), one online (hot tub), and two by virtue of being a motel (somewhere to sleep and get a hot shower).

The room was nice to look at, and the grounds were lovely.

We only stayed here again because every other place was full. We only had one wash cloth and it had blood on it so we tried to call he front desk only to find the phone was plugged in but didn't have a dial tone. We called several times to the front desk on cell phones but no one answered and they didn't call back after we left a message. There was black hair in the bath tub and neither of us have long black hair. There was water caps left on the floor so they must not vacuum. I can only hope the sheets were clean. The hot tub and pool have been broken for over a year. If you need a hot shower after a day of skiing that won't happen either. If you turn the hot water on full blast you might be able to get water warm enough to stand in long enough shower quickly. I do not recommend this place to my dogs.

The hot tub has not worked in over a year (according to another review, but definitely wasn't working when we were there.)

The shower was hot and pressure was good.

Too bad it's been left to go to ruin. It probably can't be restored and show a profit. Two wings are sitting empty. The maintainance guy was a champ, but there's more than he can do w/o help.

The room was clean, but the bed was long past it's service life. TV worked, sorta, as the remote was only good for volume and on/off

The bed was acceptable, until we were laying down and a bedbug skittered across the pillow. This was late at night and I didn't see any sort of night manager, so we decided to quarentine our stuff in the bathtub and deal with it (the alternative being the Car Full of Things). After being slowly eaten alive, we went to inform the front desk, who said they'd send the room cleaner to check. An hour and a half later at 11 when checkout was), they hadn't been in yet. We weren't offered any compensation, though we didn't ask or expect any (I'm not confrontational if it can be helped). Bedbugs happen, and they can hit any hotel, but the overall experience says "go to any of the other hotels around in the future."

The staff was friendly and informative.

Nothing as advertised in the blurb, no b'fast, wifi, or pool. It's indoor camping. Bring your own fan. No A/C or swamp cooler. Ceiling fan good for no more than decoration. The window did open but there was no screen.

Ok so far good morning beautiful day real nice staff front office nice.

Can't leave less than one star. The rm rate was humane for a town w/ no vacancies. No sign of bed bugs in our room. Nice place back in the 50's. Nice open area w/ large shade trees and tables. Dog friendly. Common area was clean n driveway was passable.

Low water pressure, maybe hot water if you wait long enough. There was none on our last day.
