This is the place to eat traditional foods of Mexico with a flair. Antonio and Sara are back in Taos, bringing home the flavors, smells, texture and taste of traditional Mexican food. Closed Sunday. This is a wonderful place to bring friends and family to enjoy a satisfying meal.
I had their signature dish, a stuffed chile with sweet walnut sauce, rice and beans.... Flavorful and unique, it was excellent. My husband had the chicken enchilada with mango salsa which was also great. Our service was hospitable and attentive and the decor was attractive and interesting. We highly recommend this restaurant!
I've been there two or three times for lunch. Never been disappointed here. I really feel like this place should be much busier. The taco stand across the street is rocking, but the food is better at Antonio's....
I had a fantastic evening here, if you consider eating here: I highly recommend it. The shrimp fajitas are the best I have ever tasted and they have very tasty desserts. They also have special dishes you can't get anywhere else.
The staff is very kind and, if asked, can get you a good recommendation for something on the menu. The sanitary is clean and smells nice. Its a small restaurant but they're highly capable of performing better then others. If you're eating here you get the very best taste of the real mexican food. Only in New Mexico.
