We really enjoyed our stay. Food, atmosphere, and company are very nice. Easy stroll into the Taos Plaza. We enjoyed the privacy of the la casa, it is a charming separate apartment. Not to be too over the top, LA Posada has nicer bed linens than any Ritz Carlton we've stayed in. The balloon flight package in the Rio Grande Gorge is spectacular, highly recommended. My wife's quote, "the example of what all boutique inns and B&Bs should inspire to be."
I bought a gift certificate for a 2 night stay as a gift for my friend. Brad went above and beyond to help make the gift extra special.
Staying at La Posada de Taos was truly a pleasure. The location is superb, and the B&B itself is beautiful and well laid out (as well as very well run). I stayed in Lino, which is a lovely room in the original adobe. Brad and Michael are fantastic hosts (and the owner Sandy dropped in for a visit too). I found the room very private when I wanted privacy, but the central areas (especially when they inaugurated the fireplace for the year) were very amenable to socializing with everyone else, and that was really nice too. A high point was the day after the Taos Pueblo Feast Day of San Geronimo (an unmissable event in itself). Brad arranged for a Taos Pueblo resident/artist to come talk to us about that day, and the pueblo in general. That was a real treat. Every year I spend a few weeks traveling on my own to explore different areas. This has been my favorite B&B so far.
The bed and breakfast was comfortable. ....Nice bed furnishings and room. The breakfast that was included was just ok. Sharon was a bit grouchy but her sister was very pleasant.
