This is one of Santa Fe's treasures. My good friends live just across the street so I had plenty of time to wander around the Mabel Dodge house and catch the vibe. My friend Jonathan ran into Dennis Hopper here one night shortly before Dennis departed this world. Taos is just that kinda place, man.....

About a month ago. Great location - quiet, open, large grounds. Very friendly, helpful staff, and pleasant guests. Stayed in the Solarium - the description is accurate. Oddly relaxing glass surround. Stairs. Would certainly return.
Even if you do not stay here, I highly recommend stopping. It is a lovely walk around the complex with lovely old trees and lots of bird watching.
