My favorite destination in Taos. And I love Taos. Clean. Comfortable. Centrally located. Within easy walking distance of the central plaza, restaurants, watering holes, the Kit Carson museum, in short, just about everything. We did need the car to get to Taos Pueblo, with its rich history, but it was a short drive. If you can get in to the Worldmark Taos, make it your first choice. You will not regret it. And plan to spend at least a few days, for sight seeing, for enjoying the food, for learning the history, particularly the ancient Pueblo history. Taos Pueblo has been continuously occupied for more than 1,000 years. The Pueblo played a central role in two uprisings, the first in 1680, which drove the Spanish from New Mexico for 12 years, and the second, in 1847, which saw the murder of Gov. Charles Bent. His home still stands a short distance from the Plaza in the center of town.
Excellent timeshare hotel. Professional helpful staff, comfortable rooms (but the Murphy bed was difficult to sleep on), heavenly location with the mountains and the snow, close to historic Taos square and the UNESCO designated Pueblo.
A well designed and furnished WorldMark property. Has a communal kitchen since these units are not the traditional full kitchen setup. Pool was the perfect temperature in July.
The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is the silly Murphy bed. The room is just fine, quiet and close to everything in Taos. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
