We had to move furniture a little to plug in the fridge, the lamps and the phone.... Like the room was not ready.
Excellent food and excellent service in the most charming setting in Taos! The prime rib is out of this world and a great value! The enchiladas were some of the best we had in the state. The bar setting is incredible as were the Margarita's. Live music on the weekends made this place the perfect spot in taos to eat, stay and play when in Taos. Love the Sagebrush!!!
Room was very smelly even though it was a non smoking room.
Excellent food in a fun atmosphere! Ate in the Cantina/bar area, but ordered the Prime Rib off of the Grill menu (they have 2 menus, one for the Cantina which is more burgers, and snacks and a the Grill menu which is more traditional of a New Mexican Steakhouse menu. The Prime Rib was delicious and the margaritas were the best we had in NM! Service was friendly and the setting was charming and historic...what more can you ask for. Love this place and can't wait to go back!
Tl;dr amazing food, poor service.
Our group of six was immediately greeted by the waitress with, "Hi, are we drinking anything but water today?" A little taken back, but we ordered our drinks. I had the prickly pear margarita and it was outstanding! One of the members of our group ordered a beer and the wrong one was delivered. No problem, she offered to bring the correct one out, no charge. When the waitress arrived with the correct beer, she started complaining about her bartender and placing blame. We ordered our food, I had three chicken tacos. Again, amazing food! The waitress never bothered to check on us. We were all out of drinks, and I kept trying to flag her down, to no avail. Eventually, I got up and walked over to ask for refills for the table. The refills came and we sat and waited for her to either check up on us or offer the bill, but again we were ignored. Another at our table eventually flagged her down and asked for the bill. We would have stayed for a few more drinks, but promptly paid the bill and left.
My favorite spot in Taos!!! Prime rib is great, service is wonderful, live music on weekends is always fun, and the historic setting is incredible. Love this place!!!
