Awesome sushi. Get there early (6pm or earlier) during busy season to avoid the wait. Great views at sunset as well

I really like their food. I think their sushi quality is the best in NM. I went there recently when the owner (woman) wasn't there and the service was pleasant. I always get the Sushi platter (can't remember the name, has 8 or 9 nigiri with tuna roll), which never disappoints. My husband had the mackerel grill and it was so tasty. Kid's meal was great too.
Unfortunately, the food is serviceable, which is why they are still here. However,the owner is the nastiest woman I have ever met in the service industry. She treats her locals like dirt and goes out of her way for no one. She does not staff appropriately so she gets overwhelmed and will not accommodate regulars when they call for take out (Even on my birthday!). The only good thing is that I'm moving and will never have to be beholden to one Japanese restaurant again that treats customers so poorly. My experience is not an isolated incident -
