Great setting!!! Service is friendly and getting faster (it used to take 30 min for a beer and an hour for food). There are 3-4 German style beers on tap and serve them in small, medium or large, there is no better spot on the mountain to eat or drink.
The Bavarian is the best restaurant in Taos Ski Valley, Period. Get ready though, it's extremely authentic German food, and if you are willing to try something new, do it! I can honestly say that almost everything on the menu is just amazing, and that the portion size is large so be hungry before you get there. This place destroys the Phoenix grill by a long shot, and if you can walk a couple more feet it's well worth it!
Oh my! I can't believe you can ski up to a place so fantastic as this. It was the highlight of the mountain that day!!!
We got our round of beer when we got our food... which took 20 minutes. Other than that the food was tasty
