Easily the best Asian in Taos.
If you need to call in takeout, they make it fresh and it's ready quickly.
Very friendly family-run place with great service and excellent food! They have Chinese, Japanese and Sushi. They even made a point of sending home some extra soft meat for Grandma! We make it a point to come here often.
What can I even say. We came here not knowing what to expect and were blown away by the service and the flavor combinations. Sushi chef came right to our table to answer all of our questions about ingredients in the rolls we wanted, and then they were served with a beautiful presentation.
Portions are decently sized, and pricing is good. The service is kind and fast and the food is top notch and not swimming in Chile, as most things in the area are.
Friendly, family-run place with a great atmosphere. Again delicious food and great service. Probably one of the best Asian restaurants I have ever been too hands down and all at a decent price.
Definitely recommended for anyone in Taos who wants Japanese or Chinese.
Pleasantly shocked. This place is the definition of hole in the wall. From the outside we weren't expecting what we got. The food was fantastic, especially for the amazing price. The waiter straight up told us, some of the sushi wouldn't be available because it depended on what they had on hand. The cook came to talk to us personally, she was really sweet and guided us to what she thought we would like. Boy she was right! Everything came at a different time due to everything being hand cooked by the chef, and it was spectacular. On top of tasting great, the food looked like a dream. Will be dining with them again!
We finished off with their smoked salmon fried rice. It sounded like an intriguing combo, but was very well put together and resulted in an astounding dish that we have since come back for multiple times.
Yu Garden is definitely on our short list of places to eat, whether you decide on dine-in or carry-out.
